World Cleanup Day

We are organising a SwapShare at Nestlé to mark World Cleanup Day, on September 17th, during our Monthly drinks.
A SwapShare is a fun and easy way to give items from home you no longer use a second life by swapping them with colleagues.
And there’s a good reason to keep our stuff in use for longer. The things we buy and use are the biggest burden on the climate for the average household, even more than eating meat or flying.
So instead of throwing things away and always buying new, let’s make better use of what we already have.
Because the best cleanup starts at home, giving unused items a second life before they become waste.
Join us, bring something you no longer use, and swap it for something new to you.

Date: Thursday September 17th 2026
Location: HQ Nestlé Amstelveen - Canteen, good weather at the terrace
Time: 16:00 – 19:00
You can bring a maximum of 5 items.
You get points for each item that you can use to choose other items
Each item is worth 1 point. More valuable items receive more points.
You can swap items in homeware, clothing, toys and books.
All items must be clean, complete and in good condition.
Ideally, each item should fit in a standard shopping bag.
We do not accept stuffed animals, socks, underwear or textbooks.
Books can be swapped for books, and clothing for clothing.
For puzzles and games, make sure all pieces are complete
Any items left over after the SwapShare will be donated to charity.

16:30 - 19:00 Swap till you drop
